Those of us wondering why Bray Wyatt watched from the sidelines at Roadblock as Luke Harper was squashed by Brock Lesnar instead of facing the Beast Incarnate got an answer when it was reported that the Eater of Worlds suffered a serious back injury in the past week.
The same source, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, now states that he’s not expected to be indisposed for a long time and will feature in some major storylines the WWE has in store for him post-WrestleMania.
Wrestling pundit Dave Meltzer said,”Wyatt's supposed to do something with [Brock] Lesnar at some point, he's supposed to do something with Roman Reigns again, they're supposed to go back to that. It sounds like Bray is going to be the top heel down the line, and that hasn't changed. It's not like the injury is so big that they have to redo that.”
Wyatt cut this promo on SmackDown today, making characteristically sinister allusions to the Undertaker, Dean Ambrose and Triple H. WrestleMania is barely a couple of weeks away and currently, there are no known plans for the Wyatt Family. Here’s the video:
