What's the story
The Bella Twins have cemented themselves as two of the most iconic women's wrestlers in the modern era of the WWE and whilst the division is thriving currently, there's no denying that the absence of Team Bella has left a small hole in the weekly programming. But, it could be as early as 2018 that a Bella is back inside a WWE ring.
In case you didn't know...
Nikki Bella was taken off of television shortly after Hell in a Cell 2015 after suffering a severe injury to her neck and hasn't returned to full-time in-ring action since then, making only a handful of limited appearances.

Brie Bella competed for the SmackDown LIVE WWE Women's Title before starting a feud against Lana that ended with a Team Total Divas (Alica Fox, Natalya, Paige, Eva Marie) vs Team BAD (Naomi, Tamina, Summer Rae, and Emma) at the Wrestlemania 32 kickoff show, but announced her semi-retirement shortly after that, citing in-ring reasons.
The heart of the matter
Brie Bella has revealed, in a Q&A on the Bella Twins YouTube channel, her timeline for an in-ring return to the WWE in 2018 and that she has already started trying to get back into shape following her pregnancy and C-section.
"Yes. So I am right now slowly trying to get back into the shape. The other day actually I was trying to do a little bit of kind of, like, lifting and I just am so weak. When I went to the doctor they were like 'Brie, your abs haven't come back yet."
Brie added that at the end of 2018 she plans to have another baby with current SmackDown Live GM Daniel Bryan, so she really wants to make her return to the ring before then if Vince McMahon likes it or not!
But I want to make sure that I am ready by let's say the end of January 2018, in case I get a phone call. But at some point in 2018 I am going to make a comeback, whether the boss likes it or not, I am coming back and making a comeback
What's next?
Nikki Bella has also stated that she's eyeing a return to the WWE in early 2018 following the recovery from her neck injury, so it would seem that we could be seeing Twin Magic making a dramatic comeback in early 2018.
Author's take
The women's division has probably never been better than it is now; we've got global superstars like Asuka and Kairi Sane; we have the 'Four Horsewomen' of NXT; unfortunately, we don't have the Bella Twins, so it's good to see that they'll both probably be back fairly soon.
