What's the story?
After three weeks of Brock Lesnar being absent from WWE television since his opponent was announced, The Beast Incarnate made an impactful return on Monday Night Raw and gave Reigns a preview of their WrestleMania match.
In case you didn't know...
The show kicked off with Raw General Manager Kurt Angle saying that Reigns was still under suspension per Vince McMahon's announcement last week, but Reigns made his way through the crowd and to the ring to confront Angle.

The heart of the matter
Reigns was adamant about refusing to leave the ring until Lesnar showed up, which lead to Angle sending out the "US Marshalls" to arrest Reigns and escort him out of the building.
After being handcuffed and moved towards the ropes, Reigns retaliated and attacked the officers trying to arrest him.
Then, Reigns' expression of anger turned to fear once Lesnar's music filled the arena and Reigns realized he was still handcuffed.
The Universal Champion quickly made his way to ring and delivered a devastating attack to Reigns that consisted of German suplexes and chair shots to the No.1 Contender.
Lesnar continued to pretend to back off and resume his attack on Reigns several times and hit Reigns with a F-5 for the first time since their match at SummerSlam.
Reigns was loaded onto a gurney and was on his way to receive medical attention, before Lesnar took a page out of Braun Strowman's book and returned to push the gurney to the floor for one more attack on his future opponent, before he was carted away and placed in an ambulance.
What's next?
Reigns and Lesnar meet in two weeks to compete for the Universal Championship in their first singles match since WrestleMania 31.
If Reigns doesn't return during the show for his revenge, he'll be expected to get his hands on Lensar before their match at New Orleans.
Author's take
Lesnar's beatdown of Reigns only worked to increase anticipation for the Universal Champion to attack his future opponent.
WWE needs to rethink their strategy if the goal is to make Reigns look good, because they failed to do so tonight.
