Reigning WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar will make his first title defence at a new WWE pay-per-view as announced by the arena that will be hosting the show.
Earlier, there were rumors about WWE possibly bringing back the Bad Blood pay-per-view for July 9th. However, a new video released by the American Airlines Center in Dallas suggests a different story.
The above-mentioned video announced that Lesnar will defend the title at a new pay-per-view called WWE Great Balls of Fire on July 9, 2017. Lesnar’s opponent was not revealed and still remains a mystery for the time being.

WWE’s intentions behind introducing a whole new pay-per-view are also puzzling. From the video package, Great Balls of Fire looks set to be a Monday Night Raw exclusive show.
Lesnar won the Universal Championship from Goldberg at WrestleMania 33. The Beast then appeared on the Raw that followed the pay-per-view but has been on a hiatus ever since. Braun Strowman was earlier rumoured to face Lesnar but nothing has been confirmed as of now.
