The WWE has named Brock Lesnar as the cover Superstar for the WWE 2K17 game. The latest installment is due to release in October this year and is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
The juggernaut attitude that Lesnar exemplifies whenever he steps into the ring was evident when he spoke about being the poster boy for the hit game series: “My career has been defined by dominating every opportunity presented to me. I am excited for my newest opportunity representing WWE 2K17 as the franchise’s ambassador and honored to serve as the WWE 2K17 cover Superstar.”
Not only does Lesnar join a long list of deified Superstars in The Rock, John Cena and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, he becomes the first WWE Superstar to grace the cover alone. This edition of the game also features Lesnar as a playable character, making him the fourth as of now, in addition to John Cena, Sasha Banks and WWE Hall Of Famer Ultimate Warrior.
Bill Goldberg is also a playable character for those who pre-order the game. So for those who remember WrestleMania 20, a little redemption is on the cards, in its own little way.
