WWE News: Christy Hemme to undergo special procedure ahead of giving birth

Christy Hemme has posted an update on her health, addressing the upcoming delivery of her quadruplets.

Apparently, Hemme has been virtually immobilized right now as a precaution and will undergo a couple of surgical procedures this Saturday (January 6th). Fans can watch the video below—

In case you didn’t know…

Christy Hemme is perhaps best known for her time in the WWE as the winner of the 2004 Diva Search.

After winning a lucrative contract with the WWE, Hemme stayed with the promotion for a few months, before moving to TNA (Impact Wrestling) where she served as a wrestler, on-air personality and announcer over the years, until 2016.

The heart of the matter

Christy Hemme gave birth to her first child—a daughter named Charlie Rose—with husband Charley Patterson back on January 6th, 2015. Following which, Hemme announced late last year that she’s expecting four more children (3 boys and 1 girl) with Patterson, due in January of 2018.

Hemme explained that the doctors changed her medication, following which her belly sacs swelled and blew up; her stomach distended, however, she is safe. Hemme added that she now has to sleep in a sideways horizontal position as a precautionary measure until she delivers her quadruplets.

Furthermore, Hemme stated that this is the hardest thing she’s ever done; continuing that her number-1 priority is the safety of her babies, with the second being her own safety. She revealed that she has been scheduled by the doctors to undergo two surgeries—the first to help deliver the babies, and the second to take the cerclage out.

Hemme emphasized that she’s nervous and excited about this Saturday, and thanked everybody for their prayers and good wishes. She also jested about the fact that all 5 of her children will share the same birthday January 6th, but she will celebrate each and every one of their birthdays on separate days.

Christy Hemme and her husband will provide updates on her health after the procedures this Saturday.

She added that she doesn’t know how long the procedures she will undergo shall take.
