In a recent interview with the New York Daily, Anthony Anzaldo – the manager of recently deceased wrestling icon Chyna, opened up about her sudden death on Wednesday, which occurred due to an overdose of Valium and Ambien – reports wrestlinginc.com.

Anzaldo dismissed the notion of Chyna intentionally overdosing and stated that she had been legally taking the medicines for years, but confessed that she increased her consumption to dangerous levels in recent times.

"She was inappropriately taking her legally prescribed medication over the course of two to three weeks," Anzaldo said. "On Sunday night, her body had enough. ... Her normal amount was one thing, but over the course of time she was increasing, and not properly."

It was also revealed that the wrestler had been dead for days before being discovered by her manager. The toxicology report will take at least eight months to process, but Anzaldo is sure that a deadly amount of Valium and Ambien is what killed her.

Chyna will be remembered for her groundbreaking run in the WWE during the ‘90s and early 2000s, which led to multiple trophies and numerous records as well as opening the door for women as legitimate wrestlers and not mere escorts.
