WWE News: Congratulations to Mike and Maria Kanellis on the birth of their daughter

What's the story?

Mike and Maria Kanellis are now proud parents after Maria gave birth to their baby daughter earlier today.

In case you didn't know...

Mike Benett and Maria Kanellis got married in 2014. They worked together in Ring of Honor and then Impact Wrestling before signing with WWE in 2017. Maria has been out of action since her pregnancy and Mike Kanellis took time off to successfully go to rehab.

Incidentally, The Miz and Maryse also became parents a couple of days ago when Marse gave birth to their daughter Monroe Sky Mizanin.

The heart of the matter

Maria Kanellis gave birth to the couple's daughter Frederica Moon earlier today. According to WWE.com both Maria and Fredrica are doing well.

Mike Kanellis hasn't been on WWE television much this year. Even last year, he had taken a two-month hiatus and subsequently a three-month hiatus. He had a battle with drug abuse but has successfully overcome it. He's currently working live events and dark matches.

What's next?

Mike Kanellis has been seen backstage recently and will probably return to television after Wrestlemania.

It's been a rollercoaster journey for the couple over the past year. With their WWE signing, Kanellis' recovery from drug abuse, Maria's pregnancy, it seems to have brought out the best of Mike. If you follow his social media, you'll know that he's in tip-top physical condition and trying to be the best that he can be. WWE should be praised for their support for the couple.
