What's the story?
Well, there's been some big news recently about some real heat between Corey Graves and Booker T leading to Booker being removed from his commentary position on WWE RAW.
On the most recent episode of his Heated Conversations podcast, Booker T said that WWE's bring back Jonathan Coachman to replace him on the RAW commentary team was due to people thinking he was going to legitimately beat up Graves before threatening to do just that.
Well, Corey Graves had already responded on Twitter - but he took his chance on RAW last night to rub salt into the wounds.
In case you didn't know...
Just over a week ago, WWE announced that Booker T would return to his role as pre-show panellist and ambassador for WWE after just over ten months behind the announce table.
The former five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion blamed the decision on Corey Graves - mainly that his former announce colleague got him so hot, people backstage thought Booker was going to physically assault Graves.
The Hall of Famer even added, "If I catch Corey Graves on the street, I'm going to do something to him."
You can read the rest of Booker's quotes on Graves from Heated Conversations here.
The heart of the matter
Well, after a cryptic tweet from Graves yesterday, he decided to use his platform on RAW last night to add insult to injury - and this shot wasn't quite so subtle.
While barbing with Jonathan Coachman before the Asuka v Bayley match, Corey Graves can be heard sneaking in a quip at Coach that was definitely aimed at Booker T and the platform he used to attack Graves.
"You better be careful, Coach. Watch your tongue or you might be doing afternoon radio locally."
What's next?
It doesn't seem like the former NXT Tag Team Champion is too upset by Booker's remarks, but you had to know that, if an opportunity arose, Graves would take it.
It'll be interesting to hear if Booker T responds on the next episode of Heated Conversations.
Author's take
Well, I did predict that Corey's philosophical tweet wouldn't be his only shot at the former King of the Ring and that he may strike next on RAW, but this shot was one many may have missed.
It's still impossible to tell if this is a work or a shoot. Booker T seems to be a lot more bothered by what has conspired than Graves is - and the former NXT Tag Team Champion definitely hasn't helped matters with his comments last night.
I can't wait to see how this plays out!
