WWE News: Daniel Bryan previews some interesting new gear for WrestleMania

What’s the story?

With Daniel Bryan returning to the ring this weekend at WrestleMania 34 to compete in his first match since 2015, a lot of people have been excited to see the 'Yes man' in maroon trunks and grey furry boots again.

Well, they may not get to. Don't worry, the comeback is still on - but Daniel Bryan has new ring gear for the occasion!

In case you didn’t know…

WWE's recent announcement that Daniel Bryan had finally been medically cleared for an in-ring return, sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe, and the announcement of a WrestleMania match sent the world of wrestling into a frenzy.

Daniel Bryan was forced to retire from in-ring competition in early 2016 due to injury but, has fought ever since to prove that he can return. Sunday marks his first match back in a WWE ring.

The heart of the matter

Well, after posting a training video yesterday in which he did a backflip for the first time in three years, the former WWE Champion has now previewed some new gear ahead of his in-ring return.

The SmackDown General Manager noted that, because of how last minute everything has been regarding his return, he doesn't have old gear at his new home, so he had to order new stuff.

Bryan states that he ordered two sets of new gear - one set of traditional stuff, one set of completely new stuff, even hinting that the new gear may relate to him transitioning to a new style of wrestling upon his return.

The former Intercontinental Champion said, people in Seattle specifically will like the new gear due to a football link, and shows off a sneak peek at the gear in the form of a kneepad from each.

Bryan is a huge Seahawks fan, and with his new t-shirt having elements of blue, it's no surprise that the new gear resembles this too.

Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon, take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 34 on Sunday.

Daniel Bryan has also been confirmed as a participant at the Greatest Royal Rumble on April 27th in Saudi Arabia.

Well, the training video yesterday was great, and this new gear just hypes up the return even more.

I, (as I'm sure many others are), am incredibly excited to see Daniel Bryan return to the ring. Sunday will be truly special, and the former WWE Champion is sure to get one of the biggest reactions of the night when he returns to the building he made history in four years ago!
