What's the story?
Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan recently did his first Q&A session on The Bella Twins' YouTube Channel. WrestlingInc.com is reporting on some of the highlights from that Q&A; which include his favorite moment in the WWE, as well as his favorite rivalry from his time as a wrestler there.
In case you didn't know...
Daniel Bryan's WWE career ended early due to concussions and he retired from in-ring competition in February of 2016. Since his retirement, he co-hosted the Cruiserweight Classic with Mauro Ranallo and became General Manager of Smackdown Live when Commissioner Shane McMahon hired him shortly after the brand split last year.

The heart of the matter...
Bryan's favorite moment in the WWE occurred at the end of 2013 when his father saw him wrestle for the last time, but it was a different moment that Bryan liked best. He explains in the quote below:
"It was really cool because it was the night they were doing the unification [title] thing with John Cena and Randy Orton, and everybody in Seattle was chanting for Daniel Bryan and my Dad got to see that. It was the first time he ever got to see me look like a big time dude."
Unfortunately, Bryan's father unexpectedly passed away in April 2014 while Daniel and Brie Bella were on their honeymoon.
In regards to his favorite rivalry in his WWE career, the answer may surprise you. It's not John Cena or Triple H, but Sheamus. Bryan and Sheamus will forever be remembered for one of the shortest WrestleMania matches in history when the babyface Sheamus defeated the heel Bryan in only 18 seconds.
"I think my favorite one was with Sheamus, just because there were so many ups and down in that one. I just always loved wrestling Sheamus, we beat the crap out of each other and I liked it."
What's next?
Bryan continues as the General Manager of Smackdown Live, and you'll see him next this coming Tuesday on USA Network. The second season of Total Bellas also premieres this Wednesday on the E! Network with much of the focus on Brie being pregnant with their daughter Birdie who was born on May 9th this year.
Author's take...
While many will think his WWE Championship win at WrestleMania XXX would be his greatest moment, I think it is really cool that he thinks that the last time he wrestled with his father in attendance was his favorite moment. The entire run at that time for Bryan was amazing and it all started with the YES! Movement when Bryan and dozens of the WWE Universe did their version of Occupy Raw.
