What's the story?

John Cena is one of the all-time greats, and although he has said that he will never leave WWE, his Hollywood career has really kicked off over the last few years and we are seeing less and less of him. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently commented on if Cena's time in the spotlight is up.

In case you didn't know...

John Cena has always worn the WWE colors with pride and has said several times, particularly during his 2011 - 2012 shoot feud with The Rock, that he would never leave WWE and go down that same route.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Times have certainly changed as we are now seeing less and less of the 16-time World Champion. Although the first several films John Cena appeared in were duds with fans, critics and the box office, Cena's most recent big screen movies, Ferdinand, Blockers, and Bumblebee, were all huge hits.

The heart of the matter

WWE Hall of Famer and 6-time World Champion Booker T recently spoke about John Cena and last week's Fatal Four Way main event from RAW on his podcast, Heated Conversations. During it, Booker spoke about how he feels that John Cena's time is now up in the spotlight. Booker said:

I'm gonna tell you right now, I don't care what John Cena says, he can say he's got the fire again. What now did he say he had? Ruthless aggression! Yeah, that's what he said. He can talk a good game but his rapping days are over. I mean, my time is now? Your time is up. It's over, man.

What's next?

WWE has just revealed on Twitter that John Cena may have suffered a serious injury and his participation in this Sunday's Royal Rumble may now be in question.
