WWE News: Drugs behind Mr. Anderson's firing from TNA

Anderson in a better phase of his career in TNA

Social media is still buzzing over the fact that former 2-time TNA World Champion, Mr. Anderson was released, or fired rather, from the company. It was stated that he was fired due to his ‘behaviour’ during a TNA Wrestling taping in Bethlehem, PA but nothing else was publicized.

Now reports reveal that Mr. Anderson was fired for failing a drug test at the tapings. Additionally, reports from allwrestlingnews.com suggest that that he wrestled at the tapings while he was under the effect of something.

He faced Eric Young in a match that was set to telecast on January 19th episode of Impact Wrestling. Unfortunately, the match was so badly worked that it was edited off the tapings. After the match, when Anderson went backstage, a drug test was held which he failed and was subsequently fired from the company.

Anderson wrestled for the WWE from 2005 to 2009, where he is a former Money in the Bank contract holder and United States Champion. He botched a back body drop in a match with Orton, that may have resulted in injuring Orton’s neck. He was released from the company by Vince McMahon after Randy Orton and John Cena complained about the rough in-ring work of Ken Anderson.
