WWE Hall of Famer Edge teased a big announcement to coincide with he and Christian appearing on "WWE Ride Along" on the WWE Network. Edge announces that he and Christian will officially be bringing back "The E&C Podcast" with two major guests!
In case you didn’t know…
In addition to being a WWE Hall of Famer, Edge is a former seven-time World Heavyweight Champion, four-time WWE Champion, WCW United States Champion, five-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, fourteen-time WWE Tag Team Champion, seven of those held with Christian. He is also a former King of the Ring (2001), Royal Rumble winner (2010) and lastly the first WWE Superstar to become Money in the Bank (2005).
Edge has been keeping himself busy as of late. He and Christian have starred in "The Edge and Christian Show" for the WWE Network, which is slated to return for Season 2 in the near future. Additionally, he made his WWE return for SmackDown 1000 with his trademark "Cutting Edge" talk show segment with SmackDown Live Women's Champion Becky Lynch.
The heart of the matter
Earlier on Monday, Edge announced on Twitter that he and Christian would be on WWE Ride Along for Monday night's episode following RAW on the WWE Network. He went on to tease a major announcement.
Shortly thereafter, Edge made his big announcement.
Edge announces the return of the "E&C Podcast", with their partners at Westwood One. Additionally, their special guests will be none other than guitarist Nita Strauss and one the only "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. The last episode of the E&C Podcast aired on September 14, 2018, with NXT's Adam Cole (BAY BAY!) and the creator of Headlocked Comics, Mike Kingston.
What’s next?
In addition to his recent appearances, Edge currently stars in the hit television series "Vikings" as the character Kjetill Flatnose.
