What's the story?
Tonight on SmackDown Live, R-Truth lost his 24/7 Title belt to Elias in a Lumberjack match. He then went on to reclaim the belt when he caught Elias inside the ring soon after, and pinned him.
In case you didn't know...
It hasn't been long since WWE came up with the 24/7 Title. Mick Foley was given the honors of unveiling the title belt on a recent episode of Monday Night Raw. The unveiling was met with a mild response, with Foley taking the blame upon himself.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
The championship followed the same rules as that of the legendary Hardcore title, that was once held by the likes of Hardcore Holly, Crash Holly, and The Hurricane. Titus O'Neil became the first WWE 24/7 Champion, but was soon dethroned by Robert Roode. By the end of the night, R Truth had become the champion by stealing a sneaky pin on Roode.
Ever since then, Truth has managed to keep the belt on his waist, with Drake Maverick doing his best to locate him and take the title.

The heart of the matter
On SmackDown Live tonight, Truth was forced to defend his belt against Elias in a Lumberjack match, which saw Elias pin Truth to bag the gold. Soon after, Elias managed to escape the ring full of lumberjacks, and decided to hide under the squared circle.
This didn't end well for him, as R Truth sneaked behind Elias, and bashed his head on a chair. Truth proceeded to pin Elias and leave the ring, now a four-time WWE 24/7 Champion.
What's next?
It would be interesting to see how long R Truth manages to keep the 24/7 belt on his shoulder, with a string of WWE mid-carders wanting to catch him in a vulnerable position at all times.
