What's the story?
Ever since the rumour first emerged that Finn Balor would not get his long overdue rematch for the Universal Championship because Vince McMahon does not think that he is 'over' enough, Balor has been going ballistic on Twitter with hilarious jokes and comments.
The latest meme that he posted on Twitter is probably the funniest one yet.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Twitter went crazy as they reacted to this hilarious meme. Balor also reacted to a news piece that called him a troll, with the following hashtag: #OverAndOut.
In case you didn't know...
Finn Balor became the Universal Champion less than a month after he was called up to the main roster after the longest championship run in NXT.
Unfortunately, he had to surrender the championship owing to an injury he sustained during his match with Seth Rollins at SummerSlam last year.
Balor made a triumphant return this year, and still hasn't gotten a one-on-one shot at the Universal Championship, currently held by the reigning, defending and undisputed Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar. This is presumably because Vince McMahon believes he isn't 'over enough' with fans, according to certain reports.
The heart of the matter
Finn Balor is known to be a troll on Twitter, and often works his audience with hilarious Tweets. He's obviously taken the slight in the right spirit, and is therefore making remark after remark on the same subject.
A recent poll on WWE.com suggested that fans want to see a match between Finn Balor and Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Unfortunately, according to certain reports, Vince McMahon does not want the 'Demon' persona to lose to Lesnar. The jokes will, in all likelihood, continue!
What's next?
We're not sure who Finn Balor is in a program with as of right now. He continues to be a top player on RAW, just out of the Universal Championship picture, at this very moment. Let's hope WWE has big plans for this talented man.
Author's take
Finn Balor is awesome. The reason so many of us connect with him is that he shares the same sense of humour as his fans. I really hope that he continues to be an integral player on RAW, for quite a long time.
