Finn Balor may be out of action until the Road To Wrestlemania, but that won’t stop him from going back to one of his wrestling homes – ICW (Insane Championship Wrestling) in the UK.
Apparently, Raw General Manager Mick Foley was scheduled to make an appearance on their November 20th show, but that date happens to be the same date of Survivor Series, therefore Foley will not be able to make it then.
However, WWE was nice enough to find a replacement for him. And he just happens to be the right man for it.
Naturally, this is in a non-wrestling capacity, but nevertheless, the ICW crowd went wild when it was announced that The Demon King would make his return to ICW.
As mentioned, it is indeed perfect timing, as Finn Balor naturally will not be doing anything on the Survivor Series weekend. Right now, he is busy rehabilitating his shoulder waiting to get back as soon as possible to the ring.
As reported earlier, Balor is progressing very well and is expected to be back sometime around the road to Wrestlemania. With that said, there has been a lot of speculation as to whether he will make an appearance in the #30 spot in the Royal Rumble match and perhaps even go on to win it.
He would indeed make history standing tall in front of a large Alamodome crowd, in what is expected to be the largest Royal Rumble crowd in history.
