Former WWE star Damien Sandow was back in action once again during last night’s MCW event in Joppa, MD, where he pulled off a trick that he became famous for during his days with WWE – reports wrestlinginc.com.
The wrestler teamed up with The Bruiser, Colt Cabana and Johnny Crabcakes to face off against The Kings, during which he incorporated his famous ‘stunt double’ trick that grabbed him attention during his time with WWE.
While with WWE, Sandow was hired by The Miz, whose then persona was that of an arrogant film star, to be his stunt double. Initially, Sandow took all of the beatings that were meant for Miz, but evolved into a much more prominent character, mimicking every one of Miz’s moves while on stage and aping his personality off it, leading to WWE tweaking his name to Damien Mizdow.
The 34-year-old, who was well known for his mimicry skills long before his role as Miz’’s double, went on record to stated that he and Miz never rehearsed any of their moves, making their team up even more authentic.
A return to his mimicry roots surely served as a welcome surprise to his fans.
