New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

The 34-year old suffered an arm injury earlier this year, and was on the shelf ever since, with his WWE release being revealed in October.

The heart of the matter

Darren Young is now being promoted under his real name Fred Rosser, will use a part of his WWE gimmick with his nickname on the indies being ‘Mr. No Days Off’, and will wrestle his first match since leaving the WWE at a WrestlePro event on March 9th.

The aforementioned matchup will see Young aka Rosser return to his birthplace, Union, New Jersey. The former Prime Time Player will not only wrestle at the event but also has a meet-and-greet scheduled for fans before his performance.

Furthermore, Young/Rosser is also scheduled to appear at The Big Event convention in Queens, New York on March 10th. Besides, the WWE veteran will also compete on March 10th at a Warriors Of Wrestling event in Staten Island, New York.

What’s next?

With Darren Young’s 90-day WWE non-compete clause coming to an end in March of next year, he’ll wrestle as Fred Rosser for WrestlePro on March 9th.

Following which, fans can catch Young/Rosser at The Big Event convention on March 10th, after which he’ll also compete for the Warriors Of Wrestling promotion on the same day.

Author’s take

It’s great to see the hard-working Fred Rosser find success after his WWE career came to a close.

For long, he was one of the sport’s more underappreciated competitors. Here’s hoping he achieves tremendous success in the indies.
