The rumour mill was firing on all cylinders in the lead-up to WrestleMania and everything that come down the chute was ravenously set-upon by the WWE Universe. The air of uncertainty prologuing the Show of Shows gifted a mysterious glow to all the whirling rumours and one of the most electric ones was the return of one of the most engrossing stars of his day.

The day before WrestleMania 32, Bill Goldberg was rumoured to make an appearance in Dallas. And not just any plain old appearance – word was Goldberg was supposed to run-in during the Shane McMahon-Undertaker Hell in a Cell match.
Dumbdounding as it sounds, these are the things we love and hate the most about the WWE. ‘Da man’ came clean on Twitter about these whispers:
Goldberg was reportedly appraoched by the WWE in January with the offer of a six month or a one-year contract, but he was looking at one big cameo at WrestleMania 32.
