A few weeks ago, WWE announced former World Champion Goldberg as a pre-order bonus for the upcoming video game, WWE 2K17. This SummerSlam weekend, several WWE superstars, along with Goldberg, attended the 2K17 Launch Party to promote the game.
At this event, the wrestling legend was interviewed by Myles from The #Trending20 that airs on 104.4 Virgin Radio Dubai.
In this brief interview, Goldberg discussed about his thoughts on the main event match of WWE Summerslam between Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar. Lesnar will be his pick to win this match as the once-undefeated Golberg doesn’t see how anyone can beat the Beast in an one on one match.

Although, he believes if any wrestler can slay the Beast, it has to be the Viper. Goldberg continued to praise Orton for his in-ring skills and claimed that he has been a huge fan of his performance. He also stated that Orton made him look great in the matches they had in the past.
Goldberg told Myles that Brock Lesnar can only kick his ass in a video game like WWE 2K17. He commented that the game makes Lesnar look better that he actually is. Goldberg also accepted Lesnar’s challenge by stating, “If Lesnar wants me to beat him up, I will be glad to”.
Goldberg also mentioned that if he gets an opportunity to go toe to toe with any wrestler from this Sunday’s Summerslam card, it will be Brock Lesnar. Very soon, he changed his mind and wanted Seth Rollins as his opponent. Goldberg stated that he doesn’t know that ‘little guy’ but definitely want to introduce him to his fist. This was a response to the comments made by Seth Rollins during a recent interview on ESPN First Take, where he said “I would fight Goldberg any day of the week”.
Regarding the comments made by UFC Featherweight Champion, Conor McGregor, Goldberg thinks such negative words were nothing but disrespectful. He doesn’t believe it was a part of any gimmick of McGregor, even if it was, he is not a fan of it. This Sunday, at UFC 202, Conor will be fighting Nate Diaz and Goldberg stated that he will be delighted to see Diaz rip his head off.
The former World Champion revealed that he could have pursued a career as mixed martial arts performer only if the money was viable. He would have joined UFC years ago, but it was a strong consideration to choose anything over professional wrestling.
