Legendary WWE announcer and commentator Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan was rushed to hospital today after suffering a fall. The 71-year-old hasn't been in the best of health since being diagnosed with throat cancer in 2002. This is the fourth time it has been reported that Heenan has suffered a fall, the other incidents resulting in hip and shoulder fractures.

Things are grim at the moment, as his wife Cynthia said on Twitter: “Doctors are going keep Bobby for the next 72 hours because his blood pressure is so low”.
An immortal figure in pro-wrestling history, Heenan is still revered for his penchant for riling up the audience. His fluency as a heel led him to be called ‘The Weasel’ amongst other such monikers.
In a decade-long career with the WWE that began in 1984 and crossed over to WCW in 1994, Heenan managed a veritable who’s who of wrestlers including Ric Flair, Curt Hennig, Harley Race, Buddy Rogers and CM Punk.
Heenan penned a couple of memoirs as well, Bobby The Brain: Wrestling's Bad Boy Tells All in 2002 and Chair Shots and Other Obstacles: Winning Life's Wrestling Matches in 2004
