What's the story?
A random tweet by Hulk Hogan last week spiralled into an interesting back and forth between Hogan and Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake. It all started with a random tweet where Hogan finally thought it was time to give up the battle of baldness:
Then an unassuming fan rightfully suggested that he should give Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake a call to help with that:
Then things got out of control...
In case you didn't know...
Hogan and Beefcake met in the 1970's and managed a gym together called "The Whitey and Terry's Olympic Gym." The two friends also formed a tag team in the late 1980's to feud with Zeus and Randy Savage as well as Money Inc. when Hogan returned to the company in 1993.
The heart of the matter
After the fan suggested that Hogan visit Beefcake, Brutus responded and as you can clearly see, they're no longer friends:
And that was just the beginning as Beefcake announced that he's writing a tell-all book and insinuated that there will be a lot of Hogan in there. Hogan quickly responded back, letting Beefcake know that he'll need to have a good lawyer handy:
After Hogan's tweet about Beefcake needing a lawyer, Beefcake called Hogan paranoid and said that he wasn't talking about him. From there the conversation continued to spiral out of control, including Brutus posting a screenshot of an e-mail from his ex-wife saying the good time she had with Hogan and how Beefcake was trash.
And this wasn't even the end of it by far.
What's next?
The WWE fired Hogan in 2015 after Gawker released a secretly filmed tape of him where Hogan said some racist remarks. Over the past year, the WWE has slowly added Hogan back into video packages where previously he was completely removed.
It is possible that the WWE will bring him back for the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for further details.
Author's take
That was definitely an interesting exchange! For a while there I couldn't tell if it was two teenage girls fighting over a man or it was truly two 60-year-old men arguing on social media. At least it was very entertaining.
