New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
In case you didn’t know…
Currently, in his eighth reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion, The Miz has held the WWE IC Title for a total of 565 days, surpassing the likes of Don Muraco, The Honky Tonk Man, Tito Santana, and Razor Ramon in the list of combined Intercontinental Title reigns.
For the past several weeks, “The Hollywood A-Lister” has been engaged in a feud with former WWE World Champions Seth Rollins and Finn Balor and as noted in last week’s episode of WWE Raw, both Balor and Rollins were successfully able to defeat The Miz after being pitted in singles competition by GM Kurt Angle.
The heart of the matter
Following a 3-on-2 handicap match between The Miztourage against Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, Raw GM Kurt Angle announced that The Miz will defend his WWE Intercontinental Title in a triple threat match against “The Architect” Seth Rollins and the leader of the Balor Club, Finn Balor, at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.
The Miz, who is currently in a quest to become the longest reigning WWE IC Champion in the company’s history, could see his history-chasing pursuit being in serious jeopardy after being pitted against two of the very best and athletic superstars in WWE, in the form of Balor and Rollins.
Furthermore, the triple threat match between Miz, Balor, and Rollins was also confirmed by WWE’s official Twitter handle earlier today and it is undeniable that this match is definitely capable of being the best bout of the evening at WrestleMania 34.
What’s next?
The WWE Intercontinental Title has truly been elevated by The Miz. This year's WrestleMania IC Title match also feels a lot more important compared to last year when Dean Ambrose and Baron Corbin squared off in the pre-show for the prestigious championship belt.
The WWE Universe at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, in New Orleans, is definitely going to witness a top class bout on the 8th of April and the entire WrestleMania 34 card is shaping up to be a really stellar show.
Here is the updated card for WM 34:

Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar

Author’s Take
This year’s IC Title match at WrestleMania honestly feels like a star-studded bout and personally, I’d hope that Finn Balor walks out with the championship belt in New Orleans come 8th April 2018.
