Jim Ross has taken to social media so as to reveal that he underwent the first of his two surgeries this month.
Ross opened up on having to undergo a couple of surgical procedures on his eyes this month and detailed his current physical status as well.

The heart of the matter
Over the past few years, Jim Ross has been working on a part-time schedule with the WWE. Ross has also been considerably vocal about his battle with Bell’s Palsy since the mid-1990s—something that is said to have adversely affected his overall health in the ensuing years.
Ross revealed by way of his official Twitter account, that he underwent the first of his two surgeries that were scheduled for this month.
Apparently, the eye surgery was deemed a success, however, Ross added that he still can’t see well out of his right eye. Furthermore, good ol’ JR added that he hopes for everything to be good over the next few days.
What’s next?
Jim Ross presently serves sporadically as a commentator, and primarily works as a talent scout—helping bring up-and-comers in sports-entertainment to the WWE today.
Ross is set to undergo another surgery later this month.
