What's the story?
During an interview about his new film 'Murder on the Orient Express' Josh Gad, who provided the voice of Olaf in 'Frozen' and starred in Disney's live-action 'Beauty and the Beast', revealed he is making a Gorgeous George movie for WWE studios.
In case you didn't know...
Gorgeous George was a huge star during the golden age of wrestling between the 1940s and 1950s and was one of the first wrestlers to create a separate in-ring persona and gained an incredible amount of notoriety because of it.

He was eventually inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame In 2010.
The heart of the matter
Gad revealed to the Huffington Post that a script for the film had been completed and that we should expect to see the film sometime next year.
Here's what else he had to say about the exciting film prospect:
It is one of these extraordinary stories that a lot of people don’t know about. Gorgeous George was in many ways the influence for people like Muhammad Ali and for what became WWF and then WWE. He brought villainy to centre stage in the world of wrestling and in a way established what we now know as the character performance art that becomes a lot of the world of wrestling.”
What's next?
This is a big deal for WWE studios as Josh Gad has cemented himself as a certified star since his mainstream breakthrough as the voice of Olaf the Snowman from Frozen.
His presence in a Gorgeous George film should ensure that it hits all of the comedic elements that come from George's story.
Author's take
I wasn't too familiar with the story of Gorgeous George, but after doing some research, I'm amazed that the wrestler's story hasn't already been made into a film. I'm a big fan of Josh Gad as well, so I'm really looking forward to this.
