What’s the story?
For the past 2 years in the WWE, Seth Rollins has dominated many of his opponents with the Pedigree. However, on the most recent episode of Raw, The Architect debuted a finishing move that appeared to be straight out of Kenny Omega’s arsenal.
The Cleaner then took to twitter to react to the apparent theft of one of his signature moves.
In case you didn’t know...
Tyson Smith is a Canadian professional wrestler, best known by his ring name ‘Kenny Omega’. He is signed to New Japan Pro Wrestling, but he also makes appearances for Ring of Honor. Omega is the current leader of the ‘Bullet Club’ and has been ever since the departure of AJ Styles. He is one of the most talented wrestlers who isn’t under contract to WWE.
The Rain Trigger is a staple in his moveset and may have been inspired by Shinsuke Nakamura’s Kinshasa.
The heart of the matter
On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Seth Rollins teamed up with Enzo and Big Cass to face against Samoa Joe and the Club tag team duo of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. The Architect picked up the victory for his side, following a skull crushing knee strike to the head of Karl Anderson.

The finisher used by Rollins caught the attention of many wrestling fans around the world because it was very similar to Kenny Omega’s Rain Trigger. The leader of the Bullet Club took to twitter and reacted to the use of his finisher in a passive manner.
What’s next?
Kenny Omega has clearly stated that the ‘theivery of late is blatant/funny’. However, he went further and said that ‘I’ll be out doing the same’, which could suggest that he may be looking to mix up his move set.
