WWE News: Kevin Nash comments on X-Pac situation

Kevin Nash confirmed that X- Pac is well

What’s the story?

Former WWE superstar and World Champion Kevin Nash has commented on the situation surrounding his fellow Kliq member X-Pac, also known as Sean Waltman. Many fans were concerned over the weekend when X-Pac failed to attend a scheduled independent booking, after which he also didn’t answer calls.

In case you didn’t know...

Nash and X-Pac go way back, with the two being intertwined within their infamous Kliq stable for over two decades now. Both men have since returned to WWE in one way or another over the years, with Nash, in particular, featuring on WWE television much more prominently than many would’ve expected. Waltman, however, is more often seen on the independent circuit.

The heart of the matter

Nash has confirmed to his many followers that X-Pac is alive and well. Many fans were speculating that Waltman may have fallen ill; however, it would seem as if he’s dealing with a personal issue. The company he was scheduled to appear for, IPW: UK, initially contacted him and didn’t hear anything in response.

What’s next?

We’ll likely hear more about this situation over the course of the next few days, as is usually the case with wrestlers missing bookings like this. Given his age, it’s still possible that X-Pac could appear inside the squared circle for WWE once again, but it’s not yet known whether or not the company sees much value in that idea.

Author’s take

It was worrying to see this news come out, but we’re happy to see Nash clear things up. There’s still value in X-Pac, and we’ve always thought that he was quite an underrated performer, despite some people feeling he was the exact opposite. Either way, let’s pray that he sorts out any personal issues he may have.
