WWE News: WWE announces mammoth match cards for Japan tour

Nakamura couldn’t have hoped for a better match

– Japan is a hub when it comes to the pro wrestling business with a lot of promotions gaining a huge audience in recent times. NJPW is one of the largest promotions in the world, boasting of stars such as AJ Styles, Finn Balor, and Shinsuke Nakamura.

WWE recently announced two Live Events in Japan to be held at the Sumo Hall ion Tokyo which would definitely boost the popularity of the WWE as well as give the Japanese fans something in return. The match card for the events was revealed and promises some good matches.

Day 1, July 1st

  • * Roman Reigns will face the No. 1 Contender AJ Styles and Kevin Owens in a triple threat match.
    • * A Fatal Fourway Tag Team match up will take place featuring the Usos, Anderson and Gallows, The Vaudevillains and The New Day.
    • * Natalya will face the WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte
      • * Becky Lynch will face the current NXT Women’s Champion Asuka
        • * Chris Jericho will battle it out with John Cena
          • * The King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura will face Bray Wyatt
            • * Titus O’Neil will face Baron Corbin
            • Day 2, July 2nd
              • * Roman Reigns versus AJ Styles versus Chris Jericho
                • * Vaudevillains will take on the Tag Team Champions New Day.
                  • * Becky Lynch will go up against Charlotte
                    • * Asuka will compete against Natalya
                      • * John Cena vs Kevin Owens
                      • * Shinsuke Nakamura vs Bray Wyatt
                      • * The Usos will continue their rivalry with Gallows and Anderson
                        • * Dolph Ziggler will take on Baron Corbin
