WWE News: Mick Foley provides post-surgery update

We never like to hear of our wrestling heroes having any kind of health procedure. But they give their bodies in the ring on a nightly basis to entertain the fans. For that, they not only deserve our respect but our true thanks.

We can't thank Mick Foley enough for what he's given to the fans throughout his career. The hardcore legend paid another price for his life-long passion in the pro wrestling business on Monday when he had right knee replacement surgery.

While going into surgery he gave the thumbs up and his hopes seemed to be high.

Mick Foley told fans he would give us an update when he kicked out of anaesthesia and he was true to his word. With a smile on his bearded face and another thumbs up, Mick Foley looked a bit groggy but otherwise well.

Foley said it was a very successful surgery and thanked fans for all the love they sent his way.

We're glad Mick Foley was able to get through this one and we hope he enjoys his new knee. It might take some getting used to, but Foley will be back in the ring again in no time.
