What’s the story?

WWE superstar The Miz and former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz had a heated exchange on Twitter last night. Gewirtz was the first one to throw a shade at The Miz by mentioning that he had some miserable days in WWE courtesy of the former WWE champion.

Miz was in no mood to back down and retaliated quickly to the accusations as you can see below.

Brian Gewirtz is a former WWE head writer. He worked in the promotion for more than a decade before separating back in 2015. Apart from WWE, he has worked for a few other television shows as well. Mostly a writer, Brian has also produced and acted on some projects.

Gewirtz is currently working at Seven Bucks Production where he serves as an executive.

The heart of the matter

The Miz and Gewirtz had an interesting exchange on Twitter last night which suggested that they might have some problems between them. If we read between the lines, the tweet from Miz indicates that Gewirtz was one of the reasons why his success in WWE was limited all these years.

The twitter exchange between these two does not have any major implications for the immediate future of both parties. However, it does give us an insight into the kind of relationship that these two had.

The fans might not know what exactly went down between Miz and Brian during their WWE days. But as far as this twitter exchange goes, they seem to have a rocky relationship. Brian has been vocal in the past about how he was not a popular figure in the locker room.

Nevertheless, what Miz made is a huge accusation and it’s unlikely that the exchange ends in a good way for Brian as the fans are likely to rally behind Miz.
