WWE has already declared that Sting, Stan Hansen, Jacqueline Moore, The Fabulous Freebirds, Big Boss Man, The Godfather, Snoop Dogg will be inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2016.
Joan Lunden, a breast cancer survivor, TV show host and the force behind several social welfare programs will recieve the 2nd Warrior Award this year. Apparently, WWE may add another award to be presented from the ceremony which will take place this Saturday in Dallas.
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a certain picture sent by a fan indicates that a new Legacy Award will be introduced that night. This award will honour several wrestling greats, but they won’t be termed as official WWE “Hall of Famers”.
Most possibly the wrestlers who will be receive this Legacy Award are Ed “The Strangler” Lewis, Lou Thesz, Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Mildred Burke, Pat O’Connor and “Sailor” Art Thomas.
WWE has started selling WWE Hall of Fame t-shirts in Dallas, which indicates the possible Legacy Award inductees.
