WWE News: Nia Jax wants to team up with Braun Strowman for the Mixed Match Challenge

What's the story?

The WWE recently announced a new Mixed Match Challenge which is set to stream on Facebook on Tuesdays from January 16th and Nia Jax has come out and stated that she wanted to team up with Braun Strowman.

In case you didn't know...

The Mixed Match Challenge will pair a male and female wrestler as a tag-team to compete in an elimination style tournament to win $100,000 for a charity of their choice.

The heart of the matter

Jax is one of the most dominant wrestlers in the women’s division and she stated in an Instagram video that she would like to pair up with ‘The Monster Among Men’ Braun Strowman.

Jax rattled off a number of names who could be her partner from the roster such as The Miz, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe or even Elias but she stuck with Strowman and even shared the name for the pair, ‘Team Beauty and The Beast’.

Jax further added that Strowman would be the Beast in the team while she sent a “How you doin?” to Enzo too.

What's next?

Jax and Amore have been involved in a couple of backstage segments where a romantic angle could be introduced. It will be interesting to see just how this works out as the pairing of Enzo and Jax would certainly be one of the weird ones in WWE history.

The Mixed Match Challenge or MMC is a great idea that the WWE has floated and streaming it on Facebook could give it an extra boost on social media.

Should Jax and Strowman actually team up, the competition is theirs to win given how dominant the pair can be in the ring.

Strowman is possibly the strongest wrestler in the WWE, or at least he is portrayed as such, and Jax easily is the strongest female wrestler on the roster.

It will also be a little fun to see how Enzo responds to this message from Jax, maybe they could be paired together for the competition instead of Jax and Strowman.
