Nikki Bella took to the Bella Twins' YouTube channel today to open up about her recent breakup with John Cena, revealing she’s been living with her sister Brie and brother-in-law Daniel Bryan since the split.

In case you didn’t know…

Nikki Bella and 16-time World Champion John Cena had been in a relationship since 2012 and even got engaged after beating Miz and Maryse in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 33 last year.

John Cena and Nikki Bella were set to tie the knot just a matter of days ago, on May 5th, but the pair shocked the world when they announced their separation just days before.

The heart of the matter

Nikki Bella opened up about her break-up via her joint Youtube channel with sister Brie today, but Nikki appeared without her twin - and opened up about the support she's received since her breakup with John Cena.

The former Divas Champion revealed she’s been living with Brie and Brie's husband Daniel Bryan since the split occurred, saying the viewers would all know why.

Nikki gave the heartfelt message to thank her fans for supporting her through a difficult time.

"I know I’ve kinda been MIA and I’ve just kinda been hiding out, but I wanted to reach out to you all and just thank you all for your love and support. I can’t tell you how much its meant to me, especially through a really difficult time."

Nikki Bella also went on to say that this season's Total Bellas will be difficult for her to watch.

Well, there are a load of rumours flying about regarding the break-up. I'm just glad to see Nikki Bella speak out about it and seem to be doing well. I wish both her and John Cena all the best as we all know how difficult breakups can be.

One can only imagine how much more difficult it is when you're a star of the magnitude of either party involved here and have the eyes of the world on you when you're at your most vulnerable.
