Her recent stint on Dancing with the Stars only added to her long list of accomplishments. With her sister Brie, she also recently launched an apparel brand as well named "Birdiebee" and has even talked about acting in movies.
The heart of the matter
"If there’s a barrier to be broken or an accolade to be earned, Nikki Bella has done it, and done it with style."
If you search Nikki's bio on WWE.com, these are the words that you come across. Nikki has indeed done it all, but now she has set her eyes on a larger goal.
In her interview, she talked about being recognised in the "mainstream world", and mentioned that was not a level she or her sister had reached, yet. She went on to say that she would always come back to WWE, and that was her home.
Nikki said that she has a long way to go to reach the level of John Cena or The Rock, in the WWE.
"I've yet to hit the level of where my fiancée John [Cena] is at, or even the Rock, and I would love to be the first female to do that."
She put words to her goal as she said that she wanted to be the first female star to achieve the same level that Cena and The Rock had.
What's next?
Nikki has been planning a comeback in WWE for a while now and even pitched a role for herself as SmackDown Live's general manager.
Author's take
If there is a single female star who can emulate the success of Cena or The Rock in wrestling as well as mainstream media, it is none other than Nikki Bella.
We may see Nikki back on television sooner than we realise, while she may be back in WWE by Wrestlemania.
