What's the story?
WWE recently trimmed a few names from the main roster, including Emma, Darren Young, and Summer Rae. Now they're adding another name to the list as NXT star Sawyer Fulton has been wished the best of luck in his future endeavours.
In case you didn't know...
Fulton was an original member of SaNITy but an injury took him out of the group. His jacket was spit on and tossed up the ramp to signify that they don't have any time for weaker members in SaNITy.

At 6 foot 8 inches tall and over 300 pounds, Fulton made a name for himself in Mid-Ohio Wrestling as Big Jake South. But when WWE signed him they had other plans for this big man. Unfortunately, you can never predict injuries.
The heart of the matter
WWE announced today that they have come to terms with the release fo Sawyer Fulton from his NXT contract.
It's always sad when somebody loses their job, but it's especially disheartening when it happens due to an injury. After all, those can rarely be helped.
What's next?
As with all stars being released from WWE, there's certainly an opportunity for them to create a path of their own on the world's indie scene. The options aren't as wide open for females in the indie wrestling scene but there are still some opportunities to make a living doing what they love.
Sawyer Fulton still has a great future in pro wrestling and the 27-year-old performer very well might find himself back in WWE sooner or later if he keeps at it.
Author's take
The important thing to remember about all these releases is even though they might be let go, there's always the chance to see them again.
If you look at examples like Jinder Mahal, Rhyno, Drew McIntyre, and others sometimes all a Superstar needs to really jumpstart their career is to have WWE bid them farewell for a while and allow them to find themselves.
