What's the story?
WWE is going through a lull at the moment, as ratings and viewership on both RAW and SmackDown have dipped. But the blue brand is still delivering some good matches.
Prior to this week's SmackDown show, WWE announced a match between Mandy Rose and Naomi, after the two Superstars argued on Twitter, which resulted in the match for this week.
But that match wasn't on the show this week, and SmackDown GM Paige revealed why the match did not take place this week.

In case you didn't know...
Last week on Twitter, Mandy Rose made fun of Naomi, as she criticised Naomi for losing the Battle Royal match on SmackDown, and also poked fun at Naomi for losing a Mixed Match Challenge match.
The feud kicked off online and Paige announced a match for this week's show.
The heart of the matter
On this week's SmackDown, The Miz booked a tag team match, with Shane McMahon in his team, against local jobbers, The Vegas Boys.
Paige revealed in a backstage interview that The Miz booked the match without the knowledge of Shane McMahon or herself. The SmackDown GM spoke after the show and explained why the match between Naomi and Mandy Rose did not take place this week: "Well, The Miz is actually what happened. He's making matches that I didn't even know was gonna happen. So obviously the ladies couldn't be a part of it."
But she did reveal that the match will happen on next week's SmackDown show: "But what I do know is, is that Mandy and Naomi is not over. See you next week."
What's next?
This week's SmackDown was the TLC go-home show, the last PPV of 2018. Two of the most eagerly awaited matches on the show will see AJ Styles take on Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship, while the SmackDown Women's Championship match will involve Becky Lynch, Charlotte, and Asuka.
