What’s the story?

Paul Heyman issued a rather ominous response to the WWE, upon being questioned regarding Brock Lesnar’s upcoming RAW segment.

Upon being probed regarding the upcoming Brock Lesnar-Roman Reigns segment, Heyman responded in a rather uncharacteristic manner.

In case you didn’t know…

The professional wrestling community has been abuzz with speculation regarding Brock Lesnar potentially parting ways with the WWE in the near future—perhaps immediately after WrestleMania 34 next month.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

While Lesnar’s current deal with the WWE allows the promotion to extend his deal until August of this year, Lesnar has teased a potential return to the sport of MMA over the past few weeks.

The heart of the matter

WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar was advertised for an in-ring faceoff with number-1 contender Roman Reigns, however, Lesnar no-showed the segment that was supposed to feature both Superstars on a recent edition of Monday Night RAW.

Reigns then went on to cut a scathing promo against Lesnar; accusing the latter of disrespecting the WWE Universe; insinuating that Lesnar broke the code, and trashed the values and traditions of the professional wrestling industry. In the ensuing days, both fans and experts alike engaged in heated debates regarding Lesnar’s WWE future.

Regardless, the WWE has now rescheduled the Lesnar-Reigns in-ring faceoff, which is said to be taking place on the upcoming episode of RAW (March 12th, 2018). A WWE reporter reached out to Paul Heyman for the latter’s statement regarding what will happen on Monday when Brock Lesnar goes face to face with Roman Reigns; in response to which Heyman began laughing hysterically and simply walked away—

What’s next?

WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar is set to defend his title against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 which takes place on April 8th.

The vast majority of professional wrestling experts believe that Lesnar could leave the WWE so as to resume his MMA career, and return to compete in the UFC Heavyweight Division.

Author’s take

Well, Paul Heyman’s reaction seems to be in lieu of the belief that Brock Lesnar no-showing his faceoff segment with Roman Reigns a day ago, is indeed a work.

Despite banter regarding Lesnar allegedly being miffed with management, Heyman’s kayfabe reaction upon being questioned by a WWE interviewer is indeed a great sign that Lesnar is still very much committed to the WWE.
