The heart of the matter
Paul Heyman pointed out that with the win over Goldberg at Wrestlemania, Brock had once again established himself at the top of the WWE mountain. Heyman was of the view that Brock had conquered the wrestling world and could now focus his attention of some other sport.
He recalled Brock stint with the Minnesota Vikings back in 2004 where Brock was the last man to get cut from the team. Heyman said that Lesnar might have made it if he were not nursing several health issues such as a broken jaw, a broken pelvis, and diverticulitis. Heyman stated that Lesnar was a very driven individual, and he would pursue any goal that he set his eyes on.

Heyman continued that Lesnar might even break into baseball to see how many home runs he could hit for the Minnesota Twins.
“I really can’t tell you that it’s out of the realm of possibility of Brock Lesnar to say ‘I’m taking a few months off from WWE, I want to see how many home runs I can hit for the Minnesota Twins.’ I think what’s next for Brock Lesnar besides what’s happening in WWE. Could it be UFC? Could it be another sport? I think it’s something he’s going to look at and say ‘I bet no one thinks I can do that, all right I’m going to conquer that’.”
Heyman even said that Brock could once again explore the world of UFC once his ban is lifted later this year.
What’s next?
Brock Lesnar is the current reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Champion of the WWE. On the last episode of Monday Night Raw, Heyman teased a big match for Lesnar against Roman Reigns. With no number one contender in the offing, Lesnar might hold on to the Universal Championship for a while.
Author's Take
Heyman may not be joking when he said that Brock could once again return to UFC. While Lesnar did announce his retirement from the Octagon, the right paycheck might just lure the Beast Incarnate to the world of MMA one last time. Moreover, given the sort of individual Lesnar is, he would like to see if he can still knock out some of the best competitors in UFC.
