WWE News: Possible reason behind Enzo Amore's concussion revealed

Enzo and Big Cass made their RAW debut on the night after WrestleMania 32

Shane McMahon started a eight team tournament, the winner of which will get the opportunity to face the New Day for their WWE Tag team Championship. The team of Enzo Amore and Big Cass faced The Vaudevillains in the finals of the tournament at WWE Payback.

During the match, Enzo suffered a concussion and match had to be stopped. Enzo was taken to a local hospital immediately and was released later that night. The match was awarded to Simon Gotch and Aiden English, The Vaudevillains. They will take on the New Day for the WWE Tag Team Championship this Sunday, at Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Although weeks have passed since that incident at WWE Payback, there are still different opinions regarding the concussion Enzo suffered at WWE Payback. People are coming up with different ideas on how the injury happened.

Wrestlinginc.com reports that, one of such idea is that Enzo was first knocked silly by a knee before his head bounced on the middle rope, which hints that he was knocked twice. The other idea denotes Enzo's head bounced off the middle rope and that is what knocked him out and led to his head hitting the apron. Enzo also believes it's the latter reason.

There is no update regarding his return to WWE.
