Back in May, one of WWE’s merchandise featuring John Cena was pulled back after it led to legal problems. The shirt in question had a design that was similar to Pabst Blue Ribbon, a beer company based out of Los Angeles. Pabst Blue Ribbon threatened John Cena and WWE with legal actions when the designs for the new shirt was announced with the following tweet and WWE immediately pulled back the shirt.
In a recent turn of events, John Cena wore that shirt when he appeared in the Money in the Bank PPV. It looks like the legal issues have been solved as the shirt is back in the sale section of WWE merchandises. John Cena commented on the issue by tweeting the following.
It is to be noted that this is not the first time John Cena’s T-Shirt designs have been inspired from other company logos. Previously, John Cena's shirts have been inspired from John Deere and AWA Wrestling logos.
