In fact, he has been portrayed as a singer since his WWE debut (then known as K-Kwik) back in 2000, where he was in a tag team with Road Dogg and the duo used to perform a rap song titled "Getting' Rowdy" as their theme.
Truth, who was released by WWE back in 2001, made his return as a part of SmackDown brand in 2008 and was again given a rapper gimmick. He has been using a song dubbed "What's Up" as his theme ever since which he sings himself during his entrance.
Currently, he is involved in a tag team with fellow Attitude era star Goldust collectively known as the "The Golden Truth" and they use a remixed version of his original "What's up" theme song during their entrance.
