There’s never a dull moment when The Rock is in action or with the mic and his spot at WrestleMania was no exception. The Brahma Bull’s appearance created an explosion of cheers in Dallas but what was bemusing was why the Wyatts were left to job to him.
We’ve already reported how far things were played by ear at WrestleMania and The Rock wasn’t spared either. Dailywrestlingnews.com reports that The Rock was actually pencilled in for two spots at least.
We learn that it was The Rock’s own choice to work with the Wyatts, as the only other option was the New Day and he didn’t want to revisit that option. The Rock has long desired a chance to work with Bray Wyatt and his wish was granted, though perhaps not in the ideal way.
The plan for the Wyatts was to have them interfere in the Brock Lesnar-Dean Ambrose Steet Fight, but Luke Harper’s injury(rumoured to be an ACL tear), denied them. The Wyatts are still expected to feud with Lesnar later this year and there’s even mention of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship being involved. As reported earlier, Braun Strowman’s push has been decided against.
