What's the story?
At WWE Fastlane, the newly called up NXT duo of Aleister Black and Ricochet failed to capture the Raw Tag Team Championship off The Revival and shortly after their Triple Threat Match, the duo expressed their frustrations in their post-match interview.
In case you didn't know...
Former NXT Champion Aleister Black and former North American Champion Ricochet were recently called up to the main roster, and ever since their promotion from NXT, the duo has ignited a heated rivalry with Raw Tag Team Champions, The Revival.
This past week on Raw, Black and Ricochet challenged The Revival to a title match, however, failed to capture the straps thanks to outside interference from Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, who prevented Black and Ricochet from winning the tag titles.
This eventually led to a Triple Threat Raw Tag Team Championship match between Ricochet & Black, Gable & Roode, and The Revival.
The heart of the matter
While speaking with Cathy Kelley in their post-match interview, the duo of Aleister Black and Ricochet sent out a warning to Raw Tag Team Champions The Revival, claiming that the current set of champions should definitely consider the former as a threat to their titles.
Black initially noted that both him and Ricochet are certainly not ecstatic with losing the match and Ricochet further added that despite tonight's defeat, he knows for the fact that the issues with The Revival are far from over.
Below is the post-match interview from Ricochet and Black:
What's next?
Neither Aleister Black nor Ricochet took the pinfall loss to The Revival at Fastlane, therefore, the duo is actually still eligible to challenge for the Raw Tag Team Titles once again. And considering, WrestleMania 35 is now just weeks away, the best decision from here on would be to book a tag team match between The Revival and Black & Ricochet.
