What’s the story?
Roman Reigns came out to a visceral reaction on the Raw after WrestleMania. Reigns stood in the ring and was showered with boos and a variety of disparaging comments. Reigns then took to Twitter to indicate that he wasn't bothered by the reaction.
In case you didn’t know...
Reigns has been getting volatile reactions ever since he won the 2015 Royal Rumble. The crowd’s hatred then intensified when Reigns won the WWE Championship for the third time in a predictable match against Triple H at WrestleMania 32.

After another year of poor reactions, the final nail in the coffin was at the 2017 Royal Rumble when Reigns came out as the final entrant in the 2017 Royal Rumble Match. However, when it seemed like things couldn't get worse, the hatred intensified after he defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33.
The heart of the matter
A fan asked Reigns how he felt about the reaction he received on the Raw after WrestleMania, which prompted Reigns to tweet the following.

This message along with his promo on the Raw after WrestleMania didn’t indicate a heel or face persona; he will probably remain a tweener character although the fans want a full-blown heel turn.

Tune into Monday Night Raw next week to see what becomes of the Roman Reigns character.
Author’s take
If the Raw after WrestleMania wasn’t a strong enough indicator that the crowd desperately wants to see Reigns become a cocky heel, then nothing will ever get through to Vince McMahon and the WWE.
Reigns has a natural charisma and presence that makes people want to dislike him. The WWE should use this to make Reigns their top heel, but that’s probably never going to happen.
