What's the story?
Roman Reigns has now taken to his official social media account, so as to once again take a jibe at the WWE, in light of the company having put forth an official statement notifying the WWE Universe that Reigns won't be appearing on Monday Night RAW.
While Reigns initially asserted that he will indeed appear on this week's episode of Monday Night RAW, the WWE immediately sent out a statement, indicating that The Big Dog's claims were false.
Regardless, Reigns has now seemingly doubled down on his assertions and has instructed WWE to be prepared for him to open this week's RAW.
In case you didn't know...
Roman Reigns is widely regarded as one of the most important personalities in the professional wrestling industry today.
Reigns is, beyond the shadow of a doubt, one of the top WWE Superstars right now; and in lieu of SmackDown Live's upcoming move to the FOX network, Reigns was recently drafted from the RAW brand to the SmackDown brand.
The heart of the matter
Ahead of this week's edition of Monday Night RAW, Roman Reigns put forth a tweet, wherein he explained that although he's now a SmackDown Live Superstar, he still has unfinished business on RAW.
In response to which, the WWE immediately shot down his claims and reverted back by stating that Reigns won't be appearing on the company's flagship Monday night show. Fans can read Reigns' statement and WWE's response in the following pair of paragraphs respectively --
"I'm back on #SDLive, but I still have some business on #Raw. I'll see y'all Monday. #ProtectTheYard"
"WWE officials have learned of Roman Reigns' desire to appear on Monday Night Raw, but as of now, and due to his obligations as a SmackDown Live Superstar, he will not be appearing on Monday Night Raw."
That being said, Reigns appears to have doubled down on his rebellion against the WWE, by sending out yet another tweet, laugh emojis galore...The tweet read as follows --
"Just have my music ready...I'll be kicking things off on #Raw right at 8pm."
What's next?
With WWE now teasing a new potential storyline with Roman Reigns likely appearing on both RAW and SmackDown, the ensuing weeks will surely be quite intriguing as regards the storyline dynamics on both brands.
