Angle and Rousey won the match after Rousey locked her patented armbar on Stephanie, making her tap out. Ronda then appeared on RAW the following night and despite overtures of friendship from McMahon, locked the armbar in on Stephanie again.
The heart of the matter
Ronda Rousey next official appearance has now been announced. She will take part in 4 dates on WWE's European Tour. The former UFC champion will appear on the following dates:
May 16th in Geneva, Switzerland
May 17th in Vienna, Austria
May 18th in Turin, Italy
May 19th in Paris, France
What's next?
Apart from the dates on WWE's European Tour, Rousey has also been announced for a Live Event in Madison Square Garden.
Rumours suggest that WWE is building up to a huge feud between Rousey and former SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte which will possibly lead to a match between the two at WrestleMania 35.
Author's take
Angle and Rousey vs Triple H and Stephanie was one of the best matches on the WrestleMania card. Apart from some promo trouble, Rousey has had a fantastic start to her WWE career and WWE has booked her to near perfection, especially the Mania match itself.
It will be interesting to see where Rousey goes from here but comparisons with Brock Lesnar are evident.
