#1 Finn Balor seems interested in a triple threat WWE Universal Championship match at SummerSlam

It seemed like Finn Balor was going to face Roman Reigns in WWE sometime soon. While the promotion teased the Universal Champion's SummerSlam status for a while, John Cena vs. Roman Reigns has now been made official for the upcoming pay-per-view.

Speaking to WWE Deutschland, Balor highlighted his "unfinished business" with The Tribal Chief.

"I really believe that myself and Roman [Reigns] have unfinished business," said Finn Balor. "Roman accepted the challenge, so, you know, it may not be SummerSlam but I’m pretty sure we’ll get down to business once Roman and John [Cena] is handled."

He added that a triple threat match against Cena and Reigns at SummerSlam would be "fantastic."

Finn Balor's main goal is to regain the WWE Universal Championship one day, which explains why he recently returned to SmackDown instead of RAW.

"Well, I’m not sure if the possibility of a triple threat at SummerSlam is off the cards right now so, if we could somehow finagle that, that would be fantastic but if not, obviously the one reason I’m in SmackDown is to become Universal Champion so you know, Roman Reigns is who I want." Balor continued, "I’ve wrestled John before, I’ve wrestled Roman before but what I want is to [regain] the Universal Championship."

Finn Balor is set to face Baron Corbin in the upcoming edition of SmackDown.
