#4. Former WWE star Nia Jax shuts down rumors of her alleged heat with Charlotte Flair

Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair had one of the most bizarre WWE matches on the August 30th, 2021 episode of RAW. The match seemingly turned into a shoot fight after a communication breakdown between the two superstars.

It was insinuated that Flair and Jax had legitimate backstage heat and were no longer friends following the uncomfortable experience. However, Jax ended all speculation with a recent TikTok video. The former RAW Women's Champion responded to a question about the apparent hate between her and Flair.

Charlotte Flair was surprisingly featured in the video as she was spotted getting pedicures together with Nia Jax. The recently-released star ended the video by lipsyncing a fitting line from a popular Rihanna song.

As reported, Flair and Jax eventually got on the same page to complete their infamous RAW match. Thankfully, the brief friction hasn't affected their friendship, as Flair and Jax are still clearly quite close to each other in real life.

#3. Jake 'The Snake' Roberts accuses Vince McMahon of breaking a big promise in WWE

Jake "The Snake" Roberts opened up about his WWE departure from 1992 during the latest episode of the "DDP Snake Pit" podcast.

Vince McMahon allegedly assured Roberts of being Pat Patterson's successor once the latter gave up his position in the WWE's writing team. Roberts was looking forward to taking up the role as he considered himself naturally gifted when it came to creating storylines.

"Vince had made a promise to me that when the day came for Pat Patterson to move on, that I would have that position," Roberts said. "And I was looking forward to it."

Pat Patterson briefly left WWE in 1992 due to a major controversy, and Jake Roberts was seemingly next in line to join the writing department. However, The Chairman informed him that WWE had decided not to replace Pat Patterson out of respect.

While Roberts had no issues with Patterson, he wasn't pleased with Vince McMahon's broken promise:

“I talked to Vince about it and he said, ‘Well, out of respect for Pat, we’re not going to put anybody in that position.’ What? That’s total bullsh*t. Bottom line was Pat was never gone. He was just out of the public eye. I love Pat Patterson, don’t get me wrong. I love the man to death. He was always a man to me and treated me unbelievably well. I have all the respect in the world for Pat and his legacy, but it really upset me," revealed Roberts.

Jake Roberts eventually made the call to quit after he received a massive offer to join WCW.

"I gave my notice at WrestleMania. I told Vince, I said, 'you know what? This is it; I'm done. You lied to me one too many times. Tonight's the night.' 'Fine. But there will be a 90-day no-compete.' 'Good, I'll use a vacation," added Roberts. H/t WrestlingInc

Jake Roberts is currently employed by AEW, where he works as an on-screen manager for Lance Archer.
