As confirmed by WWE officials, Lee wasn’t released by WWE, and he is set to continue working for the promotion. The reports about his exit from WWE started to gain a lot of traction as we have already seen notable names like Samoa Joe and Andrade being released by the company in the last few months.
Lee was initially scheduled to face Bobby Lashley and Riddle in the United States Championship match at Elimination Chamber but was forced to miss the WWE pay-per-view. He recently addressed his future on social media and stated that only ‘time can tell’ what’s awaiting him in WWE. As of this writing, there have been no reports of his return.
